DME Cloning
This process copies over all of your info from your DME (Engine Computer) to a replacement you provide. The replacement will be fully programmed and ready installed and used!
For “Cloning” your original ECU must be able to be scanned with a code reader. If fault codes or live data can NOT be read from their ECU please select the “Pair DME to CAS and Key” option
**For Pair DME to CAS and Key we use a the best method, we do not modify your CAS data to accept the ECU. We program the DME to accept your immobilizer data. Other companies will modify the CAS information and this has many drawback. A major one being that you can no longer order a key direct from BMW in the event that you lost all keys. That means you will be stuck with paying high dollar for aftermarket solutions or you would need to buy a brand new DME, CAS and key from a BMW dealership which would cost north of $4000.00. With our method you are able to retain all factory options!
Paring the DME to the CAS and Key with E series cars with DMEs MSD80, MSD81, MSV80.1 will have full programming to match your car along with the hard permeant VIN, Correct firmware and coding completed before it is shipped(first to offer) Currently MSV80 We are not able to change the hard VIN as of now however we are looking into solutions to offer this very soon but it will still have the correct firmware and coding before it is shipped.
*** If you have MHD/Bootmod or other tuning software the replacement will need to re-flash again with your tuning solution since products like MHD+ are encrypted and can not be cloned if they are the engine will NOT start until it is programmed back to stock.
